Part of the joy of owning a car is taking care of it, and making it yours. Whether you just bought a used Ford, or a pre-owned Chevy from one of our locations in Mayfield, Murray, Nashville, or Paducah, it's easy to keep it in pristine condition using a bottle of good old fashioned WD-40.

Remove stickers or de-badge your car:

Every vehicle sold at one of our dealerships proudly bears a Perkins Motor Plex sticker on the tail end, as well as standard manufacturer decals of the brand logo, model name, and other information. Some drivers prefer a "clean" look, and want to remove all of that badging.

Spray WD-40 all over the stickers, working it under the adhesive edges, and rubbing off excess drips with a clean towel. Stickers slide off effortlessly, and the WD-40 helps remove any leftover gunk.

Clean up bug splatter:

Bugs, as well as pine sap and other sticky messes, can get stuck onto your vehicle's fender, and are difficult to remove. Simply spray on WD-40, let it sit for a few minutes, and wipe clean.

Unstick gum from carpeting:

There's nothing worse than when the kids spit chewed bubblegum onto the vehicle's carpeting. Fortunately, some WD-40 helps remove this, too!

Give your wheels a freshly-detailed shine:

Spray WD-40 onto a clean towel, and rub over the wheels and tires for a sparkling shine. Avoid spraying directly onto the wheels, where it could get into the brakes.
